Isaiah Thomas to participate in Reebok Eurocamp
This is pretty cool. Looks like Isaiah Thomas is going to get to run against some of Europe's finest young talent over in Italy starting next week. Some of the RBK Eurocamp participants will almost certainly be selected in the 2007 NBA Draft. And this after a fairly successful Nike Memorial Day Classic, which included a 27 point game in the quarterfinals.

What is his chances of playing for the Huskies?
He could be our answer to Oregon's Trajan Porter who is 5'-6"?

From what I've read, it sounds like he is on track to be at UW by Fall 2008. Originally he was in this year's class, but poor academics forced him to go to prep school for a year. A bright side of this is that he played last year at the South Kent School in Conneticut with Matthew Bryan-Amaning, who is coming to UW this fall.
The Porter comparison is solid, but Thomas has been more hyped than Porter was in high school. Like Porter, he is a scoring guard in a small frame and has a great three stroke. Thomas is listed as being a couple inches taller and 15 pounds heavier than Porter. If he can produce like Porter did last year, I’d think Romar would be quite happy.
